This chili is Cincys number 1 favorite food.
It tastes completely different from any other chilis. It tastes great on hot dog by making it into a coney dog & top this chili on a spaghetti noodles & make it into a 3 way.
Ingredients-
1lb angus ground beef sirloin
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups stock beef
1 can tomato sauce
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire
1 1/2 tbsp coco powder
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp cumin
1/3 tsp ground red pepper
1 shake ground cayenne pepper
1 tbsp sugar (when cooking)
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground clove
1 bay leaf
Directions-
In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef and onions. Saute until onions are translucent and beef is no longer pink. Drain.
Reduce the heat to low and pour the beef stock. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Mix in the tomato sauce, chili powder, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cocoa powder, minced garlic, cinnamon, cumin, salt, red pepper, allspice, cloves, & bay leaf. Then shake the cayenne pepper only once & add a tbsp of sugar while simmering. Simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour.
