If you like your wings crunchy & spicy, this is for you. And it's the secret way of cooking wings.
Ingredients-
Sauce-
1 bottle hot sauce
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/3 tsp Mayo
1/3 tsp honey
1 tsp cayenne pepper ground
1/2 tsp minced garlic
Batter-
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 cup ice cold water
Main ingredient-
12 wings
Seasoned salt (shake on both sides)
Coating-
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
3 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp garlic powder
Directions-
1. Lightly seasoned your chicken wings on both sides, then set the wings in fridge for 20 minutes.
Batter-
1. Get a shallow bowl, add in flour salt & water, mix it all up, then set it to aside until ready.
Coating & breading-
1. Get another bowl, add in all the dry ingredients for coating & mix it all up. And set it aside.
2. Get your wings, dip in the batter & next to the dry coating. Press them very well then set them on a plate or tray.
Sauce-
1. Get a sauce pan on med low heat, add 1/2 stick of butter.
2. Let butter melt then once it melts add hot sauce, paprika, cayenne, minced garlic, honey & onion powder whisk it all together until everything is mixed in & lower the temp to low heat & to make it creamier add in Mayo whisk it all together. Then remove the pan from heat & let it cool.
Frying-
1. While your sauce is cooling, get a deep pan or deep fryer with oil, add few wings at a time & let them cook for 10-12 minutes on 350 degrees. Do it at each process.
2. After they’re cooked, cook them twice for 2-3 minute for double crunchier. Then set to aside to dry off once they’re done cooking.
Saucing the wings-
1. Get a shallow bowl, put the wings in the bowl & pour sauce all over the wings.
2. And shake them up.
3. Now serve!
