Shrimp Fried rice

Fried rice is the best Chinese dish that we get from any Asian restaurant, but this recipe I will show you how to cook fried rice with shrimp or meat, for this recipe you will see in the pictures I used shrimp. Now for the rice, do not use minute rice our else they will mush. Asian rice like Jasmine rice is a lot better than American rice. Very simple to cook. You can use a pan, Wok, or on a griddle.

For this recipe you will need...


 


Important Ingredients-
Sesame oil- Nutty toasty flavor. Can give a rich sweet sent to the flavor in a pan when cooking.

Dark soy sauce- just like regular soy sauce, salty liquid except it has a strong umami flavor.

Jasmine rice- Real Asian rice grown in Asia.

Egg- Goes perfect on rice, noodles, & on everything while Stir-frying a meal.



Ingredients-

  • 3 cups cooked Jasmine rice

  • 2 lg eggs

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1/3 cup shredded carrots

  • 1 tbsp chopped onions

  • 1/2 cup English peas

  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce


  • Marinating-

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • 1/2lb shrimp





 

Directions-

  1. Mix your shrimp in a bowl with sesame oil & minced garlic. Allow them to marinate for 30 minutes.

  2. Put your wok or pan on med heat with vegetable oil then beat your eggs up & add them to a pan or wok & chop them up. You can also use a griddle instead of wok or pan if you want too.

  3. Add your veggies in your pan or wok stir fry them for a minute or 2, then add in your marinated meat or shrimp in a pan or wok stir fry them for about 3 minutes or until they're fully cooked.

  4. Add your rice, stir it all over the pan or wok then add sesame oil, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, & salt then stir fry them until the rice is brown. Enjoy them.
