Homemade nacho cheese sauce is good & easy way to make & save money. It does have flour & I know it does taste a little bit of grainy but this is considered homemade style, but I will show you the secret way of doing it with jalapenos juice. First you will need...
Ingredients-
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
5 tbsp tbsp hot jalapenos juice
pinch of salt
6 slices processed American cheese
8 oz cheddar cheese blocks
1 cup whole milk
1/4 tsp cayenne ground
Servings-1-2
Prep- 3 minutes
Cooking- 16 minutes
Directions-
Heat the saucepan or small pot to medium heat. Add the butter to melt it.
Stir in the flour & stir continuously for 3 minutes to form a roux. Stir in the milk & allow to simmer. It will bubble just a bit around the edges.
Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the cheese a bit at a time. Continue stirring until it all melts through.
Add 6 slices of cheese, add cayenne pepper & add jalapeno juice & stir it fast until its nice & smooth.
add salt to adjusth the taste.
