How to get rid of potato starch for French Fries

French fries, we get them from fast food, restaurants, food vendors, etc. we even get frozen french fries from grocery stores. But wanna know the secret way of making crispier fries just like what restaurants do?? Is to get rid of starch out of potatoes! This will save you money & time to do this. It is super easy to do! I will show you how to make the best french fries.


Ingredients -

Potatoes Idaho or russet

cold water


 

Servings- 1-2

Prep- 3 minutes

Cooking- 18 minutes


Directions-

  1. Cut the potatoes with a fry potato cutter & then use cold water to rinse them after being cut & make sure you rinse them twice.

  2. Place them on a paper towel to dry & pat dry them too.

  3. Use canola oil or vegatable oil in your pot or deep fryer & make sure the heat is on 300 degrees F & cook the fries for 8 to 10 minutes.

  4. Pull your fries out & pat dry them again & turn the heat up to 350 degrees F & cook the fries twice for 6-8 minutes.

  5. Then eat your fries with ketchup or cheese sauce.
