This nacho cheese sauce is the most enjoyable snack or appetizer that we all enjoy the most. It is perfect for parties, tailgate parties, gatherings, & game day/nights at home! Not only its perfect for nacho chips, but it tastes good on soft pretzels, dipping sauce, french fries, broccoli, baked potato, & Saratoga chips. It is also delicious when top it with bacon bits, jalapenos, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, & diced onions. It is also great to drizzle on hot dogs to make it into a coney dog. Ingredients-
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded colby cheddar cheese
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4-1 tsp cayenne ground pepper (optional for spice)
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
1/3 tsp salt
Servings- 6
Prep- 3 minutes
Cooking- 7 minutes
Directions-
in a small saucepan, combine both the shredded cheddar cheese & cornstarch. Toss until cheese is evenly coated.
Stir in evaporated milk & salt to taste & cayenne pepper as a choice of spice.
Heat over medium-high heat, whisking occasionally, until cheese is melted & smooth, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, cover & keep warm until serving time or transfer to a slow cooker on the warm setting for serving.
