Ingredients-
12 oz extra sharp cheddar cheese shredded
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 can 12 oz evaporated milk
3 tsp louisiana hot sauce or regular hot sauce
3 drips medium hot sauce
2 tbsp hot jalapeño juice
1 tsp salt
3 tsp cayenne ground pepper
4 slices processed American cheese
1/4 cup jalapeños
Fries-
1lb frozen French fries
Directions-
1. Add cheese and cornstarch to large bowl. Add salt & cayenne. Toss to combine. Transfer to medium saucepan.
2. Add evaporated milk & hot sauce & medium hot sauce.
3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly with whisk until melted, bubbly, and thickened, about 5 minutes. Mixture will look thin and grainy at first but will thicken and come together after heating. Thin to desired consistency with additional evaporated milk.
4. Process American cheese, & jalapeños. Add jalapeño juice in it to get a little more flavor.
5. Get your frozen French fries by following the instructions on the bag. After cooking the fries, put them on either a plate or basket then add the cheese sauce.
Note- you can store cheese sauce in fridge & to reheat it, best way is to get a small sauce pan put the cheese sauce in the pan between low heat to medium low heat & add only 1-4 tbsps of water & mix it very well.
